The Story
Even during my school years, I felt a strong urge to move in a creative direction. After graduating, encouraged by a teacher’s valuable recommendation, I applied to a fashion school highly motivated.
However, the path took a different turn: I ultimately ended up at an art school. The focus there was heavily on fine arts and much less on textiles, which I had originally hoped for. Although this path initially seemed to contradict my plans, I learned an incredible amount there.
Still, I realized that my original vision – merging fashion and art – had always remained in my heart. That is why I am now at the point of finally giving this dream a real chance. WEARELUMINA is the result of this boundless creative energy.
The Vision
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14)
This thought forms the foundation of WEARELUMINA. We are not about building an exclusive Christian brand, but rather giving this profound message a tangible expression. Our vision is to remind people of how valuable they are and that they are destined to be a light in a often broken civilization.
Being a light does not mean being perfect. Rather, it means having the courage to make yourself visible with all your weaknesses, flaws, and blind spots. True light shines brightest when we authentically embrace ourselves and have the courage to be real.
